Teak Drive Wetlands Evidence

Official photos from the City's own Conservation Commission application — documenting the vernal pool, wetlands, and wildlife habitat they propose to impact.

Source: All photos below are from the City's own Conservation Commission Wetlands Application, submitted June 17, 2025, and the Gove Environmental Services Wetland Report, dated May 19, 2025. These are not resident photos — they are the City's official documentation of the site they propose to develop.

Species Documented at or Near the Site

ENDANGERED Eastern Box Turtle (Terrapene carolina carolina)
ENDANGERED Eastern Hognose Snake (Heterodon platirhinos)
THREATENED Eastern Meadowlark (Sturnella magna)
INDICATOR Fairy Shrimp — primary vernal pool indicator species, found in abundance

Source: NH Natural Heritage Bureau DataCheck (NHB25-0677, March 25, 2025) and Gove Environmental Services vernal pool survey (April 10, 2025)

What the City's Own Report Says

"The depth of the pool, exceeding 4 feet in the center, and the dense buttonbush edge made survey of the pool difficult. It is therefore likely that additional indicator species are present in this pool but were not recorded by the survey."

— Gove Environmental Services, Wetland Report, May 19, 2025 (Page 3)

The city's own consultant acknowledged the species survey was incomplete — and they went ahead with the project anyway.
